ResponsibilitiesAs an Associate - Investor Relations (German-speaking) with Hines, you will support Hines' global client servicing efforts with a focus on investor relations for current institutional, high net worth, and family office investors in the EMEA region. You will work closely with and support the Managing Director of Investor Relations to respond to investor inquiries, enhancing client satisfaction and retention. Your role includes providing exceptional service to investors across the Hines platform. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Investor Relations team in operational and daily business matters.
- Communicating details about Hines' investment vehicles effectively.
- Creating key documents and communications, ensuring appropriate messaging for investor inquiries.
- Collaborating during the onboarding process for EMEA institutional investors, from initial commitments to closings, and maintaining regular communication including reporting and updates.
- Optimizing and maintaining the Investor Portal for existing investors, including supporting communication via the portal.
- Coordinating with teams across Hines such as Investor Marketing, Investor Services, Capital Raisers, Fund Management, Finance, Asset Management, Legal, and Compliance.
Minimum requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- Five or more years of relevant experience, especially within institutional real estate, investment management, investor relations, research, financial analysis, or consulting.
- Business-level German speaking skills are required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Service-oriented with a positive attitude towards investor requests.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in numerical and financial analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of real estate terms and concepts, as well as institutional investment vehicles, is preferred.
