Our award-winning geotechnical teams continue to provide industry-leading design solutions on a variety of challenging and prestigious building and infrastructure projects.
Due to the win of future work we are looking to expand with a Geo-Environmentalist who will grow the discipline in our geotechnical team.
This is an exciting time for Robert Bird Group, as we go through expansion and have a growing portfolio of landmark buildings and infrastructure projects such as Olympia redevelopment, One Liverpool Street, Sydney Metro, HS2, One Leadenhall, One Waterloo development and many more.
Duties- Growing the geo-environmental capability within the existing Ground Engineering team
- Developing concept design requirements and geo-environmental project delivery strategy
- Preparing preliminary assessments and/or review and approval of preliminary assessments
- Conducting site investigations including testing, data logging and technical reporting
- Delivering design of mitigation methods and validation
- Establishing new clients and developing existing client relationships through excellent project delivery and repeat business
- Developing fee proposals and contract reviews and approval of same
- Active involvement in all projects under their direction, including project programming and monitoring
- Relevant experience working in geo-environmental discipline
- Previous experience working on buildings and infrastructure projects
- Chartered status
