Audit Manager, South West London £55,000 - £65,000 Hybrid Working
We are delighted to support a well-established and highly regarded independent firm of Chartered Accountants in South West London as they look to recruit an Audit Manager. The firm has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality audit, accounts and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio, including corporate groups with turnovers of up to £100 million.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA or ACCA qualified professional with at least one year of post-qualified experience seeking progression in a supportive and technically strong environment.
Whether you are an experienced Assistant Manager looking for a first step into management or an Audit Manager seeking a new challenge, this role offers structure and flexibility with genuine scope for development and long-term growth.
The Role
As Audit Manager, you will work closely with Partners and fellow Managers to deliver statutory audits across a range of sectors. You will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients, supervising audit teams and ensuring the delivery of high-quality work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing audits from planning through to completion
- Reviewing consolidated and group accounts
- Acting as the main point of contact for client queries and relationship management
- Supervising and mentoring junior and part-qualified team members
- Ensuring audit files meet compliance standards
- Supporting the leadership team on process improvement and staff development
The successful candidate will be:
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
- Experienced in managing statutory audits across a broad range of businesses
- Technically strong with sound knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102
- A confident communicator who enjoys working closely with clients
- Comfortable supervising teams and supporting the development of junior staff
