This is a fantastic contract opportunity, initially until the end of March 2026 but with potential to be renewed for a further 12 months. You will be working as an Engineering Liaison within Automotive Manufacturing for a major OEM in the UK.

1. Evaluating and resolving engineering-related production problems related to manufacturing, design, quality, and material engineering.
2. Analysing engineering specifications and drawings.
3. Conferring with quality, material, manufacturing, and subcontractors to provide and obtain technical information.
4. Investigating reports of defective, damaged, or malfunctioning parts, assemblies, equipment, or systems.
5. Reviewing production schedules and orders.
6. Examining, measuring, inspecting, or testing defective parts for conformance.
7. Evaluating findings to formulate corrective actions.
8. Managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from a manager.
9. Handling difficult and often complex problems.
10. Coaching, reviewing, and delegating work as required.
