About the team
The IMA Media team help clients connect their advertising to the target audience through paid media channels. We start by gathering audience insight in terms of who they are, what they look like, and what media they consume. Once we have that information we begin media planning using our bespoke planning process. We select media based on its ability to resonate with and deliver to the audience, always remaining relevant in terms of context and mindset.
Summary of the role
You will be responsible for best practice AV planning, buying and evaluation alongside leading select clients at a senior level. Working closely with the TV specialist to ensure airtime management is effective and we are hitting our benchmarks. The role requires strong relationships with key media owners, ensuring we are delivering best value and solutions across our client portfolio. There's a requirement to be involved directly with clients to ensure we are delivering the correct strategy, planning and activation across Paid media channels. You will be influential in growing our clients and spend and a core part of the role overseeing briefs, implementing strategic insights into the planning process and being accountable for the day to day running of the account.
Some responsibilities of the AV Account Director role will include:
- Developing good relationships with all relevant TV/AV suppliers, working with the TV specialist and wider investment team on AV and TV supplier deals.
- Key player in supporting our growth into CTV opportunities in the UK and other markets where necessary.
- Responsible for stated client's media forecasting, billings and client recovery rates.
- Responsible for working on client growth plans to drive growth from media and wider agency services.
- Working collaboratively with 'Heads of' to drive integration across the agency.
- Guardian of the quality of media work, making sure we are utilising all expertise ensuring that campaigns follow agency best practices when it comes to planning, buying and evaluation.
