Job description:
We are looking to recruit a Avaloq Sr. Development Lead into our BDF Wealth CoE within the Banking and Diversified Financials Practice to cater to Barclays Private Bank We'd particularly like to hear from you if you have experience working in Avaloq Core & Wealth management solution. You will play an active role in defining our practices, standards and ways of working, and apply them to your role. Our Banking and Diversified Financials practice helps clients shape, define and deliver banking transformation initiatives across the entire span of the organisation (Front Office to Back Office). This encompasses driving process improvement and process digitisation to enhance customer experience and delivery straight-through digital processing and self-service across the bank. Key areas of focus are around wealth management, payments, structured products and money market products.

Why this role?

Some of the tasks you'll be involved in: Provision of specific Avaloq expertise to enable delivery teams Working with Avaloq delivery teams to translate the end user requirements to application/system requirements Reviewing requirements documents offered by the clients Build customization on Avaloq banking solution using the Avaloq Scripting language Performing code reviews, creating code review standards, Mentoring and guiding the developers to adhere to the coding standards Training the team members in Avaloq Development Preparation and execution of test scenarios using Orbium TestMaster and management of integration and system testing Configuring Avaloq with relevant parameters for Banking Products, Securities, derivatives, Forex products, structured products, forwards and spots, money market products Documenting Technical specification and Unit Test artefacts.
Conduct functional & technical trainings on Avaloq Collaborate with partners within and outside Capgemini to build assets & accelerators

Why you?

You'll bring the following: Functional Skills: Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Avaloq Techno SME with a large organisation. Minimum 5+ years of non-Avaloq experience, preferably in Java J2EE and Oracle environment, acting as Technical Lead for at least 2 years. Expertise in any of the other Core & Wealth solution - Intellect Wealth Management, Temenos WealthSuite, Finacle Wealth Management would be an added asset Strong analysis skills with wealth Banking expertise, possessing significant work experience and in-depth knowledge of wealth products like securities, Bonds, Mutual Funds, Structured Products, Derivatives, Forex, forwards, spots etc. Understand the Wealth Management and Private Banking business and eco system - Custodian, Depository, Broker, Registrar etc Experience preparing good quality Functional Design/Technical specifications/Test cases. Familiarity with GIT, Agile, Scrum in particular and the use of Jira. Able to work as Team player as well as independently without any supervision. Soft Skills: Client facing Confident and articulate Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Able to build relationship with business stakeholders and other team members Ability to lead a team.
