Back End Java Senior Software Engineer

In order to design, develop and deliver new modules to our clients, MAINSYS is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will:

• Participate in the definition of the needs and choice of architectures.

• Take part in the conceptual and technical analyses of the architecture and software components.

• Participate in the development, integration, and testing of the various software components.

• Be involved in the deployment of these components in our clients' environments.

We coach our new Senior Software Engineer and provide them with training adapted to the context of the projects, aiming at developing the required skills, both in IT and around the banking applications.

Your Profile

You are a Senior Software Engineer and have a degree in computer science or equivalent.

You have at least 5 years of experience.

You speak French and are proficient in English. Dutch is an asset.

You have skills in Back-end Java development:

• Jakarta EE 8+ and a good knowledge of Java 17+

• Build up and maintain REST API and SOAP web services.

• Spring 6 (including CDI, JPA).

• A knowledge of JBoss EAP 8 is welcome.

• A knowledge of Docker is an asset.

You are familiar with the following tools: GIT, IntelliJ, Maven (Jenkins, Nexus eventually).

You are dynamic, problem-solving, self-taught, and have team spirit.
