Join our inspirational Rheumatology team at University Hospital Bristol and Weston, where you will develop your career as a Band 7 Team Lead Rheumatology Physiotherapist.

You will share team lead responsibilities with the Band 7 occupational therapist and will manage a varied and complex caseload of patients with rheumatological problems.

Person specification Knowledge and Experience
  • Significant experience of treating a variety of musculoskeletal / rheumatological conditions as a Band 6 therapist
  • Significant experience of clinical supervision, mentoring, and teaching
  • Experience of people management including undergraduate students
  • Previous Band 7 experience

Qualifications and Training
  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Health and Care Professions Council registered
  • Evidence of relevant musculoskeletal / rheumatology post-graduate training
  • A variety of experience in core areas as a post-graduate physiotherapist such as musculoskeletal, neurology, respiratory, trauma, and orthopaedics
  • Demonstration of continued education/training in specialty area
  • Postgraduate training at masters module level or equivalent related to clinical specialty
  • Involvement in Relevant Special Clinical Interest Groups
