Banking & Finance Lawyer

We are currently seeking an Associate to join the Banking & Finance team of a highly regarded law firm in Belgium. This is an opportunity to work on a wide range of financing transactions, advising corporate borrowers, private equity sponsors, real estate developers, financial institutions, and alternative lenders.

Your Role

As part of a leading Corporate & Finance practice, you will be involved in:

• Advising clients on acquisition finance, real estate finance, project finance, and corporate lending.
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction documentation.
• Managing transactions from inception to closing.
• Engaging directly with clients and working closely with top-tier foreign law firms on cross-border matters.

Your Profile

• Experience: 3-6 years of experience in Banking & Finance at a top-tier Belgian or international law firm.
• Education: Belgian law degree with excellent academic results; an LL.M. or additional qualification in Banking & Finance is a plus.
• Languages: Native or fluent in French or Dutch, with excellent English and a strong understanding of the other national language.
• Skills: Strong organizational abilities, a hands-on approach, and a commercial mindset.
• Personality: Team player with the ability to work independently and manage tight deadlines.
