Airtime Billing Manager
Location: Surrey, UK
Salary: Upto £50,000

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the Airtime Billing Team and act as the senior subject matter expert for all airtime-related matters
  2. Ensure the accuracy of billing databases and provisioning systems
  3. Oversee the monthly billing cycle, including invoice validation and resolution of billing errors
  4. Process activations, deactivations, and package changes for global airtime services
  5. Handle customer queries and complaints, ensuring timely resolutions
  6. Generate and analyse billing and activation reports
  7. Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to ensure seamless service delivery
  8. Provide training and support for internal teams on billing platforms and processes
  9. Approve supplier invoices and purchase ledger activity in coordination with the finance team

What We're Looking For

  1. Proven experience in Airtime Billing & Provisioning, preferably within Telecoms or Satellite Communications
  2. Strong team management and leadership skills
  3. Expertise in telecoms billing software and processes
  4. Exceptional attention to detail with a problem-solving mindset
  5. Ability to prioritise, multitask, and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  6. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, lookup queries)
  7. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  8. Highly organised, methodical, and proactive in approach

Desirable Skills

  1. Knowledge of SQL or Access
  2. Experience in the Satcoms or Cellular sector
  3. Familiarity with Navision/Great Plains ERP systems
