The Role at a Glance:

Position: Bookkeeper
Location: Maidenhead (SL6) Office Based at Least 3 Days Per Week / Hybrid Working
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Depending on Experience
Benefits: Plus Pension + 33 Days Holidays + Onsite Parking

The Opportunity:

We're seeking a proactive, talented bookkeeper to join our outsourcing team. You'll work with a diverse client base, managing your own client pipeline showcasing your expertise and skills in each unique case.

You will work with various accounting software, including QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Auto-Entry, and Hubdoc, so familiarity with these platforms, along with strong Excel skills, would be beneficial. A solid understanding of double-entry bookkeeping is essential, as well as knowledge of VAT, CIS, and PAYE regulations.

About You:

1. Proven experience working as a bookkeeper in a similar role
2. Thorough understanding of double entry bookkeeping
3. Able to produce a finalised and reconciled Trial Balance
4. Strong knowledge of VAT, CIS, and PAYE
5. Able to attend our office in Maidenhead at least 3 times per week
6. Knowledge and previous experience working with Quickbooks, Xero, Sage, Auto-Entry, Hubdoc, and Excel would be an advantage
