Our client is a well-established international player in the distribution of technical and electrical products, serving professional customers across multiple sectors. With a strong footprint in Belgium and a reputation for service excellence, they are currently looking for a Branch Manager to lead one of their key regional branches.
About the Role
As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the full operational, commercial, and strategic management of a local agency. Your role is both hands-on and leadership-oriented: driving sales growth, managing internal teams, and ensuring a top-tier customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Development
- Grow local sales by promoting tailored offers and services to clients.
- Organize promotional events and increase the branch's local visibility.
- Maintain strong ties with supplier representatives and partners.
- Analyze performance metrics and implement corrective commercial actions.
Team Leadership
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of sales and support staff.
- Take part in recruitment and onboarding of new employees.
- Motivate the team and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Set clear objectives and track team performance.
Customer Experience & Sales Excellence
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based client relationships.
- Support your team during negotiations and ensure client satisfaction.
- Provide advice on the most suitable sales channels and solutions.
- Work closely with the field sales team to expand the customer portfolio.
Operational & Financial Management
- Ensure operational efficiency and compliance across branch activities.
- Handle customer disputes or issues when needed.
- Monitor KPIs (budget, margin, quality, etc.) and improve branch performance.
Your Profile
- Strong commercial background, ideally in B2B distribution (technical products, electrical goods, construction supplies ).
- Experience managing a small to medium-sized operational team.
- Technical understanding of electrical products is a plus.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Client-first mentality and ability to build lasting partnerships.
- Language: Dutch/English
