Job Description

Overview: A 3 month coverage, working 3 days a week for Head of Brand and comms to initiate some projects while we hire a permanent role.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Brand Strategy:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies to enhance the Chambers brand.
    • Brand measurement in a consistent and repeatable manner that enables tracking progress over time.
    • Identify and evaluate opportunities for brand expansion into new products and newer markets.
    • Ensure brand consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Communications:
    • Oversee internal and external communication plans.
    • Manage media relations, including press releases, media inquiries, and interviews.
    • Develop compelling content for various platforms, including social media, website, and print materials.
    • Manage the content strategy for Chambers including managing our social channels.
    • Manage thought leadership creation and program of activity.
  • Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor a team of branding and communication professionals.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
    • Represent Chambers and Partners at industry events and conferences.

  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and brand management concepts, with a strategic mindset and the ability to translate business objectives into actionable marketing plans.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor team members to achieve optimal results.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage budgets, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.

Person Specification

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a senior brand and communications role, preferably within the legal or professional services industry.
  • Strong understanding of brand management principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing and social media platforms.
