About The Role:
Alphablocks is a growing media and educational brand, predominantly known for its award-winning shows Alphablocks and Numberblocks. With recent 'Blocks' shows Colourblocks and Wonderblocks now added to the roster, and with both digital, merchandise and licensing programmes growing around the world, we are looking for a highly organised Brand Manager to join our team.
Working alongside the Managing editor, you will be instrumental in the development and planning of global franchise initiatives for our leading pre-school education brands across the "Blocks" shows. You will partner with our Licensing team to develop and deliver engaging brand activations, asset creations and commercial sell-in materials, to grow the brands across key categories and regions globally, ensuring the brand identity and values are adhered to around the world across all activations.

Day to Day:
- Support franchise and content development by assisting in managing brand strategy and ensuring alignment across all teams.
- Alongside the Brand Editorial team, work on Brand and Educational editorial projects using the rules in place, and apply this understanding to all content, balancing educational best practice with all the fun, humour and excitement that is core to the 'Blocks' world.
- Work with an extensive library of images/assets and source new assets when required from animation partner Blue-Zoo to support licensing, brand and marketing campaigns.
- Manage and deliver all brand assets and lead the creation of sell-in tools, guidelines, toolkits and activations to support commercial and marketing functions.
- Work with key stakeholders to gather information and feedback on brand assets and use insights to enhance future materials.
- Ensure activations align with brand guidelines.
- Oversee execution of brand materials on schedule, within budget and to a high standard.
- In partnership with the Licensing team, engage global partners, aligning internal and external teams on brand activations.
- Track industry trends and competitors to inform content, brand and commercial strategy.
- Work with the Brand Editorial team on Alphablocks' commitment to educational impact, creativity and global brand leadership.
About You:
- Organised, proactive and confident with the ability to manage and prioritise a diverse and fast-paced workload.
- Strong experience working in marketing or a brand role within the entertainment, education or children's media industry.
- Good knowledge of and passion for children's educational entertainment characters and brands.
- Self-starter who can take initiative while supporting a dynamic team environment.
- Quick to learn and adapt to new responsibilities, actively sharing knowledge and insights with the team.
- Collaborative team player, skilled at building positive relationships and engaging effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in G Suite, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bonus Points:
- Experience in Adobe suite.
- Good understanding of early learning education.
