Job Description

Our client is a Local Authority in South London, located close to London Bridge.

They are looking for 3 Building Surveyors to undertake general surveying work on behalf of their Responsive Repairs team. The typical scope of work covers adaptations, general surveying, party walls etc.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide a comprehensive professional surveying and technical service to diagnose, specify, design, and facilitate a broad range of building repair works and adaptations in accordance with all statutory and local legislation.
  2. Deliver all departmental key performance requirements.
  3. Manage works from inception to completion, including the programming of works and supervision of contractors to deliver on budget, time, and to the required quality.
  4. Develop and monitor practices and procedures to ensure a quality customer-focused service.

Requirements:
  1. Experience within a Local Authority setting.
  2. Minimum of HNC qualified.

Other Information:

The role is hybrid, with a requirement in the office three days per week. The rate is negotiable; we'd expect around £40-£45/hr (umbrella).
