Business Analyst

Description

We currently have a vacancy for a Business Analyst fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either on the company's premises or on site at the customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client's IT team on site.

Your tasks

• Analysis of business requirements of transformation projects;
• Documentation of business requirements, business process analysis, business processes modelling, use cases and test scenarios;
• Assistance in the drafting of policy documents, vision documents, project initiation requests, business cases, project charters and security plans;
• Manage the implementation of specific projects;
• Drive collaboration and stakeholders' engagement activities;
• Give proposals for project strategies, planning, definition of tasks and deliverables;
• Conducting research to find ways to improve the management and offering of services;
• Assessing new IT activities on alignment with organisation's strategic goals and operational objectives;
• Monitoring and assessing current IT portfolio related processes and tools and make proposals for their evolution.

Requirements

• Master's degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in IT;
• Good knowledge of large organisation administrative business processes;
• Good knowledge of analysis/modelling tools and techniques (use case diagram, state diagram, entity relationship model, interaction diagrams etc.);
• Good knowledge of project and portfolio management standards and methodologies (Project Scheduling, Strategic Planning, Financial Modelling, Budgeting, Forecasting, Performance Tracking);
• Good knowledge of Agile methodology, Scrum Management, Lean agile;
• Good knowledge of project management tools e.g. MS Project, Microsoft Excel.
• The following certifications are required: Project and portfolio management: PM2/PRINCE2/PMP and service management: ITIL Certification;
• Excellent command of the English language.
