Business Analyst (Insurance - Software Customisation) - Freelance

A customer of ours in the insurance sector in Antwerp are looking for a Business Analyst to join on a long term, freelance basis.

You will be part of a team developing and customizing software for around 200 users within the company.

This role involves collaboration with stakeholders from various domains such as IT, Finance, and HR. It is not project-based analysis but focuses on structurally capturing requirements and contributing to improvements within the company.

Role

• Analyze business processes in the insurance sector and gather business requirements.
• Draft and document requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders from IT, Finance, and HR to understand and analyze their needs.
• Conduct requirement gathering and document requests for interest for vendors.
• Guide acceptance tests and define acceptance criteria.
• Implement and monitor test methodologies (not a test engineer role, but responsible for setting up a solid test methodology).
• Support IT, Finance, and HR-related projects within the insurance sector.

Requirements

• 5+ Years as a Business Analyst, insurance sector experience is a plus
• Dutch speaking

START DATE: ASAP
