An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated Business and Economics Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in Bedfordshire. We are seeking a passionate educator who can inspire students and foster a love for business and economic studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Key Stages 4 and 5, delivering engaging lessons that equip students with essential skills for their academic and professional futures.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Business and Economics in line with the curriculum.
- Inspire and challenge students to achieve their full potential.
- Assess, track, and report on student progress, ensuring effective learning outcomes.
- Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
- Contribute to the development of the Business and Economics department.
- Engage in extracurricular activities and wider school initiatives.
We are looking for a motivated teacher with:
- A degree in Business, Economics, or a related subject.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Business and/or Economics at GCSE and A-Level/ equivalent.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to departmental growth.
