Business Architect Data & BI

To strengthen our client's team , in their Business Intelligence Competence Center department, we are currently looking for a Business Architect with a strong focus in Data & BI.

Role:

• As a Business Architect, you play a central role in inventorying, documenting, and ensuring the quality control of business processes. You work in alignment with the Enterprise Architect, Data Architect, Technology Architects, business stakeholders, and in close collaboration with delivery teams. Additionally, you actively contribute to implementing a strategy aimed at evolving the company's business architecture.
• You document critical business processes in collaboration with business stakeholders, the risk team, and the operational excellence team, using the company's established standards.
• You help establish solid business architecture foundations that integrate with enterprise architecture and enhance their use through practical applications, such as supporting corporate strategy, portfolio management, etc.
• You develop and maintain business architecture standards, guidelines, models, and documentation.
• You support IT and business stakeholders in the implementation of business architecture within the company.
• You simplify and promote business architecture and its use among key stakeholders and decision-making committees. To this end, you work with the change management team to facilitate its adoption and deployment.
• You participate in the Architecture Review Board, where you present business architecture solutions and contribute to the evaluation of other solutions.

Skills and Expertise:

• University degree in IT or Civil Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in Business Architecture, ideally in banking & insurance
• Strong background in documenting business processes (Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is a plus)
• Excellent analytical & conceptual skills - you turn ideas into action
• Strong communication & stakeholder management skills - you foster collaboration and trust
• Problem solver & results-driven - pragmatic and constructive in your approach
• Team player with autonomy - you thrive in a cross-functional environment
• Fluent in French & English (Dutch is a plus)

Additional details:

• 8-month mission (with possible extension)
• Hybrid working (2 days on-site per week)
• Located in the center of Brussels.
