Job Description
Acadian Asset Management LLC is a Boston-headquartered investment management firm with wholly owned affiliates located in Singapore, London, and Sydney. Position Overview: The Business Development Associate is a fast-paced role supporting Acadian's Americas Business Development team. This position will be in support of Acadian's U.S. based Corporations, Endowments and Foundations, in addition to prospects based in Canada and Latin America. Aspects of the role include regular and ongoing communication with internal teams and external contacts, coordinating, preparing and participating in sales meetings and follow-up, maintaining lists of top prospects and opportunities, coordinating quarterly updates and outreach, lead generation and activity prioritization. Working with senior members of the team, the position will interface with our prospects and requires significant internal collaboration across our Global Client Group, Investment, Trading, Operations and Compliance teams. This position is ideal for a dedicated, energetic and confident individual who is passionate about the financial services industry and is seeking a long-term career in institutional sales.Acadian supports a hybrid work environment, with employees expected to be on-site in the Boston office at least 3 days a week. What You'll Do: Facilitate, schedule and prepare materials for prospect and partnership meetings. Attend prospect and partnership meetings, write meeting notes and assist with follow up. Ensure prompt responses to prospect inquiries and requests. Identify new prospects, maintain list of top prospects and opportunities. Ensure CRM system is accurate and current, facilitate monthly update outreach campaigns. Help facilitate new account start-ups, collaborate with internal teams. Establish and maintain strong relationships with various internal functional groups (i.e., Portfolio Management team, Product team, Consultant Relations, Marketing Visualization, Compliance, Operations). We're Looking for Teammates With: Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Pursuit or completion of MBA and/or CFA is desirable. Two to five years of financial industry experience; Experience with an investment management firm is preferred. Extremely strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently or with a variety of colleagues in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow through. Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Team player with strong business judgment and positive attitude. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
