Job Description
The Business Development Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Identifying and engaging new business opportunities within the high-end hospitality sector.
- Managing the full sales cycle - from prospecting to pitching, negotiating, and closing deals.
- Building long-term relationships with clients and understanding their business needs.
- Staying ahead of market trends and competitor activity to spot new opportunities.
- Collaborating with internal teams (procurement, finance) to ensure smooth client onboarding and continued account growth.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Business Development Manager should have:
- Proven sales experience - preferably in hospitality B2B sales or a similar GPO role.
- Industry knowledge - you understand the UK hospitality market and have existing connections.
- Relationship-driven approach - you know how to build trust and maintain long-term partnerships.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented - you are comfortable working independently and managing your own targets.
- Effective communication skills - from pitching to negotiating, you can manage high-level conversations.
- Tech-savvy - experience using CRM tools (Salesforce) and digital sales channels.
- Willingness to travel - you will be meeting clients across Greater London.
