About the Role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Sales team at ECA International. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a vital role in expanding our client base. Your ability to identify market trends, analyse competitive landscapes, and adapt our offerings to meet client needs will be essential to your success in this role. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients from various industries, providing you with a broad understanding of different business landscapes and challenges. By leveraging this knowledge, you will be able to strategically position our company as a valuable partner and customise our solutions to meet the unique demands of each client. In addition, you will collaborate closely with our cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to develop and implement comprehensive strategies that drive business growth and ensure the overall success of our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
  • Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
  • Meet clients face to face.
  • Understand the needs of our clients and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these.
  • Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise our clients on them.
  • Train and mentor other members of the team.
  • Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department.

Experience:

  • Proven track record in driving business growth and generating revenue through successful business development or sales roles with a strong emphasis on results and tangible outcomes.
  • Extensive experience and deep understanding of the global mobility industry, including industry trends, market dynamics, and customer needs would be desirable.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in negotiation and decision-making, with the ability to analyse complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
  • Highly adept at building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and colleagues, fostering long-term partnerships and collaboration.
  • Outstanding strategic and analytical thinking capabilities, with a keen ability to identify opportunities, assess risks, and develop actionable plans to drive business growth.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a relentless focus on achieving targets and exceeding expectations, consistently delivering outstanding performance and driving measurable outcomes.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively in cross-functional teams, leveraging diverse perspectives and expertise to drive collective success.
  • Proficiency in utilising CRM platforms and the Microsoft Office suite, with the ability to leverage technology and data to drive effective sales and business development strategies.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel as required, both domestically and internationally, to effectively engage with clients, partners, and industry events.
