We are searching for a high-energy and results-oriented Business Development Manager with a unique blend of business acumen and analytical expertise. Tasks
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, industry needs, and potential business opportunities.
  • Analyse market data and competitor activity to pinpoint areas where your company's offerings can provide a competitive advantage.
  • Utilise your business analyst skills to assess the feasibility and potential ROI of identified opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategic partnerships with complementary businesses, expanding market reach and unlocking new customer segments.
  • Analyse potential partners to ensure alignment with your company's goals and values.
  • Negotiate and finalise mutually beneficial partnership agreements.
  • Develop and implement a data-driven business development strategy to generate qualified leads and drive sales pipeline growth.
  • Network with industry professionals, attend trade shows, and identify potential clients through various channels.
  • Craft compelling sales presentations and proposals that highlight the value proposition of your company's offerings, leveraging your business analyst skills to present a data-backed case.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to qualify leads, nurture relationships, and provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle.
  • Leverage your business analyst skills to conduct requirements gathering sessions with potential clients, ensuring a clear understanding of their needs.
  • Participate in deal negotiations, utilising your analytical skills to present value propositions supported by data and market insights.
  • Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development activities, such as lead generation rate, conversion rate, and deal size.
  • Utilise your business analyst skills to identify trends and areas for improvement within your business development strategy.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate your findings to senior management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
  • Experience in construction industry (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of experience in business development or a related field.
  • Proven track record of identifying, qualifying, and securing new business opportunities.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in conducting market research, competitor analysis, and data interpretation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor your message to different audiences.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and navigate complex business negotiations.
  • Experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.

This is a permanent role and we will consider full-time. Full time hours are 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, of which at least two days should be office based with flexibility to work three days from home, at manager discretion.
