We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join our growing sales team, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing new business opportunities within the permanent recruitment sector focusing on Corporate Functions. Our Corporate Functions team focus on recruitment for HR, Finance, Bids and Procurement within the IT sector. You will play a key role in expanding our client base, strengthening relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work arrangement, allowing you to spend time in our Solihull, Dudley, or London offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within target industries focusing on permanent recruitment for Corporate functions.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through consultative selling and strategic engagement.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends and competitive insights.
  • Collaborate with recruitment consultants to ensure successful delivery of client hiring needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipelines, and forecasts.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in business development or sales within the recruitment industry, preferably in permanent placements.
  • Strong understanding of the recruitment process and client needs across various sectors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Target-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A self-motivated and results-oriented mindset
