We are Crunch: Crunch Technologies designs, develops and delivers software productivity tools for Accounting and Finance Professionals that saves significant time and drives real productivity and efficiencies for a user.
Our main portfolio product is The Audit Toolbar, a supercharged Excel plug-in, built by auditors for auditors, that allows mundane audit tasks to be completed up to 90% quicker whilst simultaneously boosting audit quality, standardisation and compliance. It removes the mundanity and frustration every auditor feels in the repetitive, longwinded manual data-orientated tasks that are unavoidable during the audit process. A typical user will get back between 35-40 hours of time on every audit and deliver consistently high and regulatory-compliant standards in all audit processes. The Audit Toolbar is platform agnostic, so it does not require a user to use a new or another software platform; it sits in Microsoft Excel, within your existing audit workflows and accelerates any user's performance through intelligent automation. It can be downloaded from the Microsoft App Store.
Job Purpose and Summary:
Being a Crunchie, you operate as a dynamic and highly motivated New Business Expert with a passion for technology and finance, with a proven track record in sales and experience with engaging with accountancy firms. This role is crucial for driving our customer acquisition efforts and expanding our market presence in the UK and International markets. You will be at the forefront of introducing The Audit Toolbar to new audit professionals within accounting and audit firms and helping them understand the value that The Audit Toolbar can bring to their operations and day-to-day audit work. Your role is to proactively grow our active user base and drive profitable revenues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within Accounting and Audit firms.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in prospective client firms.
- Present and demonstrate The Audit Toolbar to potential clients, highlighting the benefits and workflow opportunities.
- Maintain sales activity performance levels to drive OTS (Opportunities To Sell) and mature the sales pipeline in the company CRM platform, (Zoho).
- Negotiate and close new user deals, achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Drive seamless new user sign-ups via our automated platform to ensure continuity in the sales process and avoid aborted sales opportunities.
- Work with Client Success Managers and Finance to enable a clean "hand off" from the sales function.
- Collaborate with the Client and Revenue Growth Teams to refine sales strategies and product offerings based on feedback from prospects and clients.
- Provide feedback to the management team on market needs and sales workflow refinement.
- Identify, build and maintain your target audience database within your sales territory.
- Build and maintain a library of sales assets for use in sales activity.
- Contribute and refine the Sales Toolbox to provide resources for the sales team to drive growth.
Minimum Education/ Training Required:
- A strong background in sales and customer engagement.
- A good knowledge of Accounting and Audit workflows.
- A good general business knowledge with at least 5+ years of commercial experience.
Essential Knowledge Required:
- Office 365 - specifically, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint/Teams.
- Social media literate.
- CRM (ideally Zoho).
