Job Description

Inventum have partnered with a global network agency. We are seeking an experienced Business Director with a Marketing Science background to support a major client for 4 months. This is a great opportunity to drive impactful marketing analytics projects.

Daily Rate: £500-£600

Marketing Science Team Overview

Our team accelerates client growth by integrating data and analytics into marketing strategies. We:

  • Use analytics to uncover marketing insights.
  • Implement frameworks to measure and optimize marketing effectiveness.
  • Develop tools to identify performance improvement opportunities.
  • Promote experimentation and learning in client marketing strategies.

Role Overview

As a Business Director, you will:

  • Manage client relationships and provide analytical solutions for their marketing challenges.
  • Lead analytics projects, overseeing teams of analysts to ensure quality delivery.
  • Support strategists and planners with data-driven media optimization.
  • Evangelize analytics insights and embed them into clients' decision-making.
  • Contribute to product development, pushing boundaries in marketing effectiveness.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Business Director managing client relationships.
  • Background in econometric modeling or market mix modeling (preferred).
  • Significant experience in marketing analytics, ideally in an agency or consultancy.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • A numerate or analytical degree or equivalent experience.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in machine learning, A/B testing, and survey data analysis.
  • Coding knowledge in R, Python, or SQL.
  • Familiarity with developing data-led applications in R Shiny (or equivalent).
