Commodities Trading House, Pricing & Risk re-engineering programme:

Business Experience

1. Development and maintenance of IT systems
2. Financial markets
3. Understanding of derivatives
4. Front-office exposure
5. Preferred: Commodities trading knowledge
6. Minimum 10 years experience, with at least 2-3 years as a Team Lead

Technical Skills

1. .NET C#, .Net Core, Entity Framework, WPF
2. Microservices
3. ANGULAR / ANGULAR JS
4. Databases: SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB
5. Visual Studio, RMDS, Bloomberg API, Reuters EIKON
6. JetBrain Rider

Personal Skills

1. Strong interest in global markets business
2. Fast-learner and proactive approach
3. Excellent communication skills, both business and technical oriented

Additional Skills

1. Strong experience with Agile methodologies, Sprints, Kanban Board, DevOps solutions
2. Ability to work with global teams and stakeholders
3. Liaising with Senior Management - Head of Desks, Business Managers, Senior Front Office users
4. Previous experience in working with Banks and Financial Institutions
5. Ability to work in a demanding environment with strong business exposure

Preferred Experience

1. Financial Markets with focus on commodities like oil, natural gas (Day Ahead/Month Ahead), and power
2. Expert understanding of derivatives and various instruments both listed and OTC
3. Experience onboarding commodities products in Murex, especially Energy, Metals, and Carbon
