Case Coordinator/Customer Service Administrator - Legal Sector

1x 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Glasgow City Centre based

I am currently recruiting for a Case Coordinator/Customer Service Administrator to join our client, a well-established legal firm in the City Centre of Glasgow. This is a full-time, 12-month Fixed Term Contract and a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a career within the Legal sector!

This position will be office-based initially; however, after 3 months and after being fully trained, you will have the option to work from home 1 day a week. You will work Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. The salary for this position will be £24,000 per annum.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with potential clients to gather financial details and statements. Forward collected information to the vetting team for review and decision-making.
  • Accurately input and update client data in the system.
  • Inform clients of the vetting team's decision regarding their case outcome.
  • Send legal documents, request identification, and proof of address in accordance with anti-money laundering regulations. Review and verify received paperwork and identification.
  • Assign cases to fee earners promptly and ensure all necessary client risk assessments are completed.
  • Coordinate documents with partners and support with aspects of administration.
  • Monitor coordinator inbox, ensuring it is kept up to date and clear.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Comfortable with call handling.
  • Experience within a customer service or administrative background.
  • Comfortable gathering data from clients regarding Personal Injury cases.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Great telephone manner and comfortable engaging with solicitors and customers on phone and via email.
  • Comfortable working in a professional office environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
