We are seeking an experienced Change Manager (Independent/freelance) consultant to define and implement a global change management strategy aligned with business priorities (in the context of SAP digital transformation). The ideal candidate will monitor change adoption, support key stakeholders, and ensure a structured and effective approach to transformation across the organization. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills to drive successful change adoption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the global change management strategy and ensure its alignment with business priorities.
- Monitor change adoption by gathering feedback and assessing organizational readiness.
- Establish a structured change management framework with standardized tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Support and supervise Change Managers, ensuring consistent application of the change strategy.
- Ensure sponsor engagement in change management efforts.
- Develop and coordinate internal communication strategies in collaboration with HR and communication teams.
- Align change management activities with HR for training, user support, and role evolution.
- Apply change management practices within project teams to improve collaboration and minimize resistance.
Execution of Change Management Activities:
- Change Plan & Impact Analysis: Identify impacted stakeholders, assess risks, and define mitigation strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communications: Develop and execute communication strategies to ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Training Execution & Support: Design training programs and ensure employees acquire necessary skills for adoption.
- Change Readiness & Adoption Monitoring: Track user engagement, assess organizational readiness, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Collaboration & Alignment:
- Work closely with Business Process Owners (BPOs) and Key Users to ensure understanding and adoption of transformation, using the ADKAR methodology.
- Partner with HR and Communication teams to align and execute training and communication strategies.
- Apply change management principles within project teams to enhance collaboration and alignment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in change management and organizational transformation (prior experience in SAP transformation will be considered an asset).
- Strong understanding of change management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR, Prosci).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience in developing and implementing training and communication strategies.
- Ability to monitor change adoption and organizational readiness.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Experience working in large-scale transformation projects.
- Fluency in French and English.
This role is ideal for a consultant with strong expertise in change management and organizational transformation, capable of ensuring successful stakeholder engagement and change adoption.
This is a role for an Independent/freelance consultant. Start date is April 2025. Initial contract for 6 months with extensions following after. Presence on clients site in Liege will be required 3 or 4 days/week.
