Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

This is an exciting opportunity to join a PE-backed professional services business following its first institutional investment.

As the CFO, you will be instrumental in driving financial strategy, managing financial operations, and supporting ambitious growth plans.

You will collaborate closely with the executive team to ensure financial stability and optimize performance, while also managing their "Buy & Build" strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee all financial operations and activities
  2. Develop and implement financial strategies
  3. Manage budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  4. Support M&A activities and integration processes
  5. Ensure compliance with financial regulations
Qualifications:
  1. Proven experience as a CFO within a scaling SME (£20m to £50m revenue)
  2. Strong background in private equity backed businesses and exposure to M&A
  3. Essential experience in the Professional Services sector
  4. Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills
  5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  6. Eligible to work in the UK
