Client Accountant

Venn Group have partnered with a well-known Media business on their search for a new Client Accountant. This is an interim opportunity with a strong chance of going permanent.

The role is based in Central London and will operate on a hybrid structure (2/3 days per week on-site).

The successful candidate will be immediately available and will have pre-existing experience in the Finance function of a media company.

1. Oversee the financial management of client accounts, ensuring accurate invoicing and reconciliations.
2. Prepare and review client financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
3. Manage revenue recognition, WIP, and aged debt, working closely with the commercial finance team.
4. Act as a key point of contact for client queries, resolving financial discrepancies efficiently.
5. Support month-end and year-end processes, ensuring financial data integrity.
6. Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to optimise financial processes.

1. Proven experience in Finance within media, advertising, or creative industries.
2. Strong understanding of accounting principles, revenue recognition and reconciliations.
3. Proficiency in finance systems and MS Excel.
4. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and internal teams.
5. A proactive, solutions-focused approach with great attention to detail.
