Your new role
My client is seeking a team member for the role of Senior Client Billing & Commissions Associate to join their Billing team. This position sits within the operational team, not the finance division. This role involves providing a broad range of financial business solutions to investment banks, broker-dealers, wealth managers, financial planners, and advisers across EMEA. The position is located in Liverpool and offers a hybrid working model.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the preparation of client billing, understanding all processes and procedures.
  • Oversee invoice calculation and generation to ensure correct and timely preparation.
  • Working with large volumes of data, manipulating reports to ensure correct data is provided to the business and clients.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines for invoicing and management fees.
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to resolve queries.
  • Provide all supporting documentation to clients in line with their requirements.
  • Demonstrate an effective control environment around the entire billing-related processes.
  • Continually review processes and controls to ensure they remain fit for purpose.
  • Work on ad hoc projects and process reviews as required.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Experience in Billing within Financial Services.
  • Experience in Finance Operations processes is preferred.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel knowledge (including data manipulation and data analysis).
