We're looking for a data-focused individual who is passionate about serving clients and meeting deadlines. You will specialise in providing product and firmwide data to clients and investment consultants as part of the Client Data Services team.

The team
The Client Data Services team is a dedicated group of quantitative-focused data specialists. They excel in generating comprehensive, bespoke client reports and serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
The team meticulously provides firm-wide, product-specific and comparative data, ensuring that clients and other internal teams have the information they need.
The team adeptly manages the provision of quantitative information across Schroders' range of public and private markets products to Global Consultant Databases. This includes Assets Under Management (AUM), staff metrics, performance, and product characteristics, which contributes significantly to the ability for global investment consultants and clients to be able to search, evaluate and make investment decisions regarding our products.
What you'll do
- Produce high-quality, timely, and professional deliverables for clients, consultants, and research platforms, necessitating effective collaboration with Sales, Investment Product desks, RFP, and other internal stakeholders.
- Manage the global consultant database product addition and update cycle, including co-ordinating the response to new client searches.
- Lead meetings, carry out annual Product Reviews with Investment Product desks, and conduct data assessments for the team.
- Manage the team mailbox and ensure work is allocated optimally amongst the team.
- Support internal stakeholders with quantitative data requests and quality checks.
- Drive initiatives and projects to enhance team impact and efficiency.
- Specialise in analytics using eVestment's Analytics tool and utilise this expertise to assist Investment Directors and internal stakeholders.
- Cultivate relationships through networking within the broader business to benefit both the team and the overall firm.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications you need
- Experience in managing or reporting on investment/product level data.
- Experience liaising with client-facing teams and investment professionals, as well as clients and third parties.
- Broad product knowledge across equity, fixed income, multi-asset, real estate, alternatives, and private markets is advantageous.
- Strong team player, with the ability to use own initiative.
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally at all levels of seniority and across multiple cultures.
- Works well under pressure, in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Good time and project management skills, able to manage multiple and at times conflicting deadlines.
- Advanced skills in using Excel (VLOOKUPS, INDEX and MATCH, Pivot tables, etc.).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong skills across the suite.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help
- IMC (or equivalent)
- PowerBI / Tableau for data reporting and visualisation
- Co-ordinating with third-party providers virtually
- Experience in using data query tools such as SQL, Python, Alteryx
