Your Role: This is an exciting role within News Broadcasting's commercial team to drive our unique suite of digital products in the market. Reporting into the Client Services Lead, this role will co-ordinate our digital audio campaign delivery. The role will work across all News Broadcasting brands including talkSPORT, Virgin Radio, Times Radio and Talk.
Day to day you will:
- Assist the Client Services Lead in providing best in class service to external clients/partners and internal Sales/Ad Ops teams.
- Project manage the end to end campaign activation process to ensure audio is recorded/creative is supplied in a timely manner so campaigns go live on time.
- Be the liaison between the Sales and Ad Ops teams to ensure campaigns are set up for success.
- Assist the sales team with lead generation, by keeping abreast of the industry's podcast activity.
- Co-ordinate option requests for podcast host read sponsorships, and highlight any potential industry/competitor clashes.
- Adhere to nuances of each brand/partner's processes to get campaigns over the line.
- Monitor monthly downloads for our entire podcast suite and flag any changes to our supply partners.
- Liaise with talent across UK and US time zones, and highlight any schedule changes to the team.
- Monitor the delivery of campaigns on a daily basis and highlight any possible over/under deliveries to clients/agencies.
- Meticulously check sponsorship requests, to ensure they adhere to guidelines set out by the individual podcast hosts.
What we're looking for from you:
- An interest in and knowledge of the UK media industry, with a passion for the video and wider digital market.
- Knowledge of the digital landscape including digital operations processes (Ad server, forecasting, campaign lifecycle etc).
- A 'can do' and proactive attitude, especially when working under pressure.
- Exceptional problem solving skills.
- Experience in campaign management, project management or account management.
- Effective verbal and written communicator with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally.
- A team player willing to fit into a nimble department with big ambitions.
- Exceptional time management skills, as will be expected to liaise with teams in different time zones.
- Extremely process driven individual, who can recommend ways of streamlining workflows.
