Clinical Research Administrator - Suffolk Primary Care

We are looking to recruit a Clinical Research Administrator to join our dedicated Clinical Research team. In this role, you will provide vital administrative support for clinical research activities within and across Suffolk Primary Care (SPC).
Role Purpose: The main objective of this position is to work with the Lead SPC Research GP and SPC Research Nurse in optimising recruitment for research projects across all SPC cluster partnership practices. This will be achieved through effective monitoring of recruitment and the RSI (Research Site Initiation) scheme.
Location: Hybrid (mix of home working and office-based in Suffolk)
Main duties of the jobKey Responsibilities:
- Research and Governance: Support the clinical research team in coordinating a portfolio of National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) studies and commercial studies.
- GCP Compliance: Participate in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training and ensure GCP compliance for both yourself and the team.
- Study Coordination: Assist in the coordination of ongoing studies, including maintaining site files, updating quality systems, preparing documents for patient visits, and liaising with patients/carers.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative assistance, such as meeting coordination, minute-taking, and documentation management.
- Documentation & Compliance: Manage trial documentation and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- General Support: Provide additional administrative support to the clinical research team as needed.
- Prior clinical research experience is desirable but not essential; we value a willingness to learn and actively engage in training opportunities.
- Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.
