Main duties of the job The post holder will assume the role of Unit/Site Coordinator at least four times a month. They will provide unit management support and coordinate patient flow (bed management) outside of regular hours. Additionally, the Unit Coordinator will offer senior nursing support, professional leadership, and guidance in all clinical areas within the unit, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We are seeking an individual with excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with service users, their carers, and other professionals.

Person specification Qualifications
- Registered NMC Mental Health Nurse
- Numeracy skills required for the safe administration of medicines
- Evidence of relevant Continuous Professional Development
- Previous experience as a Band 5 nurse
- Able to communicate with the multi-disciplinary team, present cases, take note of actions, update others in the team and use handover effectively. Speaking face to face but also by telephone and writing letters and reports.
