Colorectal Clinical Nurse Specialist (Faster Diagnosis Team)

An opportunity is available for an experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic trained nurse to work alongside the colorectal nurse specialist team to implement a robust and timely pathway for patients undergoing a 2 week wait colorectal/anal cancer referral. The role will involve facilitating straight to diagnostic tests to assist the delivery of the 28 day faster diagnosis for colorectal and anal cancer patients. The nurse must have good knowledge of the colorectal and anal cancer pathway and understand the importance of personalised care planning. This role requires a high level of autonomous working and decision making. You will need excellent communication and clinical skills, liaising with the wider MDT within primary and secondary care.

Working Pattern37.5 hours across either 4 or 5 days, occasional weekend working may need to be considered in the future.
