Your Role
  • You are a trusted advisor, product consultant, and a closer - working with customers to deliver immense ROI in an efficient, value-based renewal and upsell cycle.

  • Partner with the Customer Success team to monitor health scorecards, identify customer needs, and demonstrate account management capabilities to guide deal closure.

  • You're a product evangelist - solutioning Zip to meet the pain points today, while also keeping an eye toward our product of the future.

  • You're a builder - at a startup, you're not just a team member; you help build the team culture and bring your best practices to the organization.

  • Negotiate all facets of renewal contracts. Develop win/win negotiation strategies that maximize contract value while enhancing the customer relationship and the value they are realizing from Zip.

  • Engage the broader Zip team to provide regular and accurate updates on renewal status to management and escalate when needed.

  • Manage current customers on multi-year contracts to ensure customer value realization.

You Will
  • Become a product expert - learning the Zip platform thoroughly, so that you're demo ready.

  • Become a procurement expert - learning the ins and outs of the procurement market, which is deeply ready for change and new solutions.

  • Use cutting-edge sales intelligence and engagement solutions to prospect, manage deal cycles, and ultimately bring on new customers.

  • Be adaptable and flexible - as part of an early-stage hyper-growth company, we are rapidly growing our process and want you to help shape our sales process.

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of technology SaaS experience.

  • Experience selling to procurement, finance, and legal.

  • Experience driving customer retention and adoption of a SaaS product for enterprise accounts.

  • Customer management skills, including sales, account management, and customer service.

  • Self-driven - you don't need someone to motivate you to put in your best every day.

  • Organized, efficient with your time, and an excellent communicator.

  • Experience using tools like Salesforce, Clari, Zoominfo, LinkedIn SalesNav, and Outreach.

  • Willing to go the extra mile to ensure our customers, company, team, and yourself succeed.
