Commercial Buyer

We are seeking a Buyer with a solid understanding of JAGGAER or Ariba systems and a proven track record in sourcing to contract and navigating Public Procurement Regulations. You will manage complex, high-value contracts and ensure compliance with The Procurement Act 2023. With strong communication and stakeholder management skills, you'll liaise seamlessly with various departments, field queries, and support end-to-end procurement processes, including tendering and evaluation.

We are looking for candidates with experience in system implementations (preferably finance-related) and a strong background in procurement or purchasing environments. While a background in the nuclear or defence sectors is desirable, your ability to work on high value complex contracts is key for this role.

Key requirements:

• Knowledge of end-to-end public procurement
• Experience of end-to-end tendering
• Tender evaluation experience
• Experience of System Implementations (finance)
• Previous experience in a procurement/purchasing environment
• Knowledge and understanding of JAGGAER (preferably) or Ariba (as equivalent)
• Experience working on high value complex contracts
• Background in nuclear or Defence (desirable).
