We are seeking a Commercial Finance Analyst to support the Commercial Finance team, acting as a key link between Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other departments.

The role involves maintaining the commercial sales database and using it to deliver accurate business insights and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting: Manage daily, weekly, and monthly reporting processes, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Address queries from sales teams.
2. Business Forecasting: Assist in generating accurate customer and product forecasts, supporting long-term planning, budgeting, and quarterly reforecasting.
3. Data Maintenance: Ensure data integrity, update for new products, price changes, and promotions.
4. Month-End: Post sales and margin data, assist with reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and support monthly Board reports.
5. Business Partnering: Work closely with sales, marketing, and manufacturing teams to ensure financial controls and budget adherence.

Ideally looking for:

1. Advanced Excel skills
2. Strong analytical and presentation abilities
3. Previous experience in food manufacturing or a similar analyst role would be advantageous
4. Sage & Exceedra experience is a plus
5. AAT or CIMA part-qualified preferred
