Commercial Finance Business Partner

A fantastic role has arisen for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join an FMCG, Retail business based in Watford on a 6 month fixed term contract role.

This is an outstanding Commercial role with significant exposure to senior Operational and Commercial stakeholders.

• Business partner with Retailers and challenge Senior stakeholders.
• Provide weekly analysis to aid commercial decisions.
• Work with Operational teams and the Senior Commercial teams to set targets and KPIs, then lead meetings explaining their performance against targets.
• Track marketing campaigns to understand the return on investment.
• Take the lead on the project to move daily and weekly performance management from Excel to PowerBI.
• Consolidate data from multiple sources, then perform analysis which will be used to inform our pricing strategy.
• Perform monthly analysis on pricing and promotional activity.
• Provide analysis to the business and track initiatives to ensure improvements are being realised.
• Provide sites with daily sales, weekly trading summary, and monthly statements which will enable them to track their performance.
• Track multiple trial results against cohort performance which will form the basis of determining whether the business should roll this out across the portfolio.
• Provide adhoc analysis to the business as required.

• Qualified ACMA, ACCA, ACA Accountant or equivalent.
• Experience of working in a fast-paced multi-site environment.
• Proven commercial experience within an FMCG, Retail environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with all managers across multiple departments.
• Ability to present data and results in a clear and simple format through storytelling.
