Communications Consultant (Account Executive)

Your role
We are looking for a talented and thoughtful communications consultant (equivalent to Account Executive) whose primary role would be to provide consultancy support with our principal client. The nature of the work focuses on building a strong and united internal culture, enhancing employee morale and improving safety behaviour as well as promoting the crucial role the client plays. They do this through various internal and external channels such as an internal newspaper, HSE programme, recognition programme, website, social media, press releases, and an Annual Stakeholders Report.
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a communications team to develop internal and external communications campaigns. This includes creating content for a monthly newspaper, social media, website, and HSE communications.
- Maintain and build one-to-one client relationships, providing counsel and strategic guidance.
- Liaison with our designers to create collateral.
- Involvement in creating social media posts and other materials.
- Opportunity to play an active role in the B Corp community.
Experience and Skills
- Excellent writing skills as well as a keen sense of news and angles.
- Social media experience and knowledge of social media analytics tools.
- Excellent listening and empathy skills - ability to gain deep levels of trust and support from clients.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills; attention to detail.
- Experience in analysing and gaining insights from data, research material, and qualitative conversations.
- Good critical thinking skills - willingness to curiously and respectfully question the status quo.
