ABOUT THE ROLE
JOB TITLE: Community and Sales Specialist
LOCATION: London, UK
TYPE OF CONTRACT: Permanent
SALARY RANGE: GBP 30-35K depending on experience
Starting from: March 2025
You'll be responsible for keeping the WeRoad website looking great, nurturing our thriving Facebook Group, managing our promotional activities and scouting for communities that have similar values to ours. You will be part of our London-based team that is responsible for our English-speaking market.
What you are going to do daily:
Manage our Facebook group with k members: constantly striving to improve engagement within the group with interactive content and excellent comments moderation.
Analyse Facebook data on a weekly basis to spot what type of posts/content work best and trends.
Keep our website looking its best - responsible for putting online new itineraries, implementing changes to existing itineraries, updating our homepage on a regular basis.
Analyse website data - understand what people are looking at on our website, any trends and compare those with Google and other travel/competitors trends.
Scout for communities with similar members and values to propose WeRoad trips for their members.
Manage our commercial plan - determine on a quarterly basis which themes we want to focus on from a website, newsletter and customer journey perspective.
Work collaboratively with our Digital Marketing Team to share trends we see from a booking standpoint to ensure those are taken into consideration for our digital advertising strategies.
Launch all promotional activities on our website and Facebook group working collaboratively with our marketing team.
What are we looking for?
Hard skills: knowledge of Facebook's dynamics, understanding of marketing and/or community dynamics, understanding of online and influencer-based communities, copywriting and perfect written English.
Soft skills: analytical, reliable, time management, team player, ability to multitask and work on various tasks simultaneously.
Availability to work some flexible hours once we launch the US market (i.e. 2pm-10pm London time).
