Your new company
Join a small but expanding, reputable construction company based in Thornton-Cleveleys. Having been established for over 20 years, this organisation provides comprehensive support services across the UK to a variety of different clients. Due to company growth, they are currently seeking an Office Manager to join the team.
Your new role
- As a Construction Office Manager, you will take ownership of key office functions that support construction operations.
- This role involves scheduling work, managing essential documentation, and overseeing procurement processes.
- Your organisational skills and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring the smooth running of projects.
- You will be responsible for planning and coordinating work schedules, preparing and organising RAMS documentation and overseeing purchasing of materials and equipment.
- Supporting contract and project administration, maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers, and ensuring health and safety compliance.
- To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 3 years' experience in an administrative or office management role within construction, facilities management, or a related sector.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Packages and the ability to learn in-house systems.
- Experience in scheduling, procurement, and documentation management is required.
- Excellent organisational skills, the ability to prioritise tasks and work under deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to manage multiple work streams, work well within a team and use your own initiative.
- Knowledge of health and safety compliance and RAMS preparation is desirable.
- In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £33,000 per annum.
