About your role of Consultant in Public Health:

• Support the wider Public Health team on a number of different portfolios.
• Work alongside the Director of Public Health to improve the health and wellbeing of the population.
• Take responsibility for the development, implementation, and delivery of policies.
• Hold a senior leadership role within the council, offering strategic direction.

About you as a Consultant in Public Health:

• UK PHR Registered.
• Experience within a local authority Public Health senior position at Consultant level or similar.
• Experience of using public health intelligence data to survey and assess population health.
• Able to influence and contribute to the development of policy as well as lead the development and implementation of a strategy.
