Bring your expertise and skills in Glaucoma management and join our multi-disciplined medical team at Practice Plus Group Ophthalmology North West where we are expanding our Glaucoma service into new locations. We are a forward-looking ophthalmology service and surgical centre and as such are embracing modern technology and concepts including the use of virtual clinics, face to face, laser, micro-incisional glaucoma surgery (MIGS) and high-volume surgery to meet the needs of our patients.
Everything we do is focused on providing a high standard of safe and effective patient care. Our facilities are modern, employing the latest state of the art diagnostic and surgical technology with friendly and professional staff. We have strong control processes and clinical governance to ensure we maintain high standards of hygiene and above all, we're passionate about giving our patients the best possible quality care and helping them feel better, faster.
Job summaryReporting to our Lead Consultant, Charles, you will perform a range of ophthalmic procedures on patients referred to the service. You will be treating both NHS and private patients referred to the service, working in accordance with our protocols and working practices.
As a highly valued member of the team, you will have access to great facilities in a well-structured and relaxed environment. As part of our professional, friendly and compassionate team you will do everything you can to ensure the patients treatment is of the highest standard by performing a range of ophthalmology procedures on patients referred to the service.
Applications from outside of the local area are welcome, there is a very generous relocation package available to support you.
Main duties of the jobYou will perform a range of ophthalmic procedures on patients referred to the service, ensuring high standards of care.
About usYou will be a UK registered medical professional, who is:
- listed on the Specialist GMC register
- with extensive experience in Glaucoma surgeries
