As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will work with patients who have already been diagnosed, providing ongoing care and treatment to support their mental health journey. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Prescribing and Medication Management: Initiating, adjusting, and discontinuing medications based on clinical needs.
• Follow-ups and Reviews: Conducting regular patient reviews to assess treatment progress and adjust dosages or medication as necessary.
• Clinical Expertise in General Adult Psychiatry: Treating and managing a wide variety of general adult mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and other mood disorders.

Key Requirements

• Full GMC registration with a license to practice in the UK.
• CCT in General Adult Psychiatry (or equivalent).
• Extensive experience in prescribing and managing medications for patients with diagnosed mental health conditions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
• Section 12 and AC.
