We are seeking a dedicated, dynamic, and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our permanent team full time. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality psychiatric care within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping patient care and contributing to the ongoing success of our service.

Responsibilities:

1. Providing high-quality clinical care for patients referred to and using the services of the hospital.
2. Taking clinical responsibility for your patients, including leading multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk assessment and management, Responsible Clinician duties, including Mental Health Act report writing and Tribunal attendance.
3. Developing a therapeutic milieu.
4. Providing expert psychiatric assessments and treatment for a diverse patient population.
5. Leading and managing patient care within your specialty, ensuring the highest standards of care.
6. Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, therapists, and nursing staff.
7. Engaging with referring Trusts and community teams proactively.
8. Facilitating families' involvement in the care of their loved ones using technology and excellent interpersonal skills.
9. Engaging in clinical governance and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
10. Participating in out of hours on-call rotations, ensuring continuous high-quality care.
11. Fostering relationships with external stakeholders and maintaining a network of professional contacts.
12. Ensuring compliance with all relevant clinical guidelines and regulatory standards.
13. Committing to ongoing professional development and meeting Revalidation requirements.
