Job Description
Consultant Radiologist NHS Tayside x 3

Applications are invited for the post of Consultant in Diagnostic Radiology.

We are seeking a candidate for diagnostic radiology duties with special interest in GI radiology, Uro radiology and MSK radiology, working within multi-disciplinary teams and to provide a quality service.

These are new posts, available with illustrative job plans of 10 programmed activities: 8 Direct Clinical care sessions; one SPA session and a further SPA session of agreed supporting professional activities or direct clinical care according to candidate's preference.

These are full-time posts, however, anyone wishing to work part-time will be considered.

These posts are based in Tayside with sessional commitments in Stracathro or Perth Royal Infirmary. Currently the diagnostic radiology on-call frequency for this post is 1 in 15. A separate on-call rota for Interventional procedures is provided by Tayside Interventional Radiologists based in Ninewells Hospital.

Applicants must be on the Specialist Register or be within 6 months of the anticipated award of CCT or CESR(CP) at the time of interview for the post. Interview date is Thursday 20 th March 2025.
