Job Description

As Hello Tomorrow expands, we are looking for a Consulting Senior Manager to strengthen and help structure our consulting team, eager to work on impactful and deep tech projects with our clients.

YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Senior Manager at Hello Tomorrow, your primary mission will be to bring value to our clients and help them tackle their most pressing challenges. Leveraging our extensive network of deep tech startups, researchers, and experts, you'll play a pivotal role in reshaping industries and driving corporate innovation.

You will lead ambitious client projects, build technical and business expertise across diverse fields, and gain firsthand insights into how cutting-edge technologies are transforming markets. Beyond client work, you will actively contribute to the strategy and operations of the Consulting Business Unit (BU) and play a key role in shaping the career paths of Senior Consultants.

You'll be supported by experienced Partners who will guide, challenge, and support your professional growth, ensuring you thrive in this role.

WHAT WILL YOU CONCRETELY DO?

  1. Deliver high-quality projects & foster client relationships (50%)
    1. Project leadership: oversee the timely and high-quality delivery of client assignments, ensuring exceptional results.
    2. Team management: organize and lead project teams, shaping methodologies and deliverables.
    3. Key assignments: conduct trend and market analyses, scout startups and emerging technologies, facilitate corporate-startup collaborations, support venture-building initiatives.
    4. Client interaction and retention: serve as the primary point of contact during projects, ensuring clear communication and a deep understanding of client needs; maintain and nurture relationships by engaging past clients through value-added content and events to foster long-term partnerships.
    5. Account development: deliver successful pilot assignments and scale engagements to additional teams or topics.
  2. Drive commercial activities (30%)
    1. Business development: build and maintain a pipeline of clients and partners.
    2. Sales leadership: lead client pitches, introduce Hello Tomorrow's offerings, and qualify client needs.
    3. Proposal development: craft tailored commercial proposals that highlight Hello Tomorrow's expertise and value proposition.
  3. Build the team and support the Consulting BU (20%)
    1. People development: manage the career paths of Senior Consultants, providing guidance and mentorship.
    2. Team building: foster a positive team culture through recruitment, training, and organizing internal activities.
    3. Strategic contributions: collaborate with the Consulting Steering Committee to manage BU operations, such as reviewing KPIs, defining growth strategies, and supporting HR initiatives.
    4. Internal taskforces: lead taskforces in areas such as marketing, Summit planning, expertise development, or training.
    5. Brand representation: represent Hello Tomorrow and its consulting services externally by participating in webinars, industry events, and speaking engagements.
Preferred Experience

You have solid foundations in consulting skills with at least 8 years experience in external client-facing roles in strategy and/or innovation management consulting firms.

You have business-development experience: track record of attracting new clients, creating new business opportunities and nurturing existing / building and pitching proposals, and selling your own offers.

You have already managed a team, and have strong leadership skills.

You are fully fluent in both French and English.

You have strong analytical skills, i.e. collecting, processing, and interpreting data in order to make informed decisions.

You have excellent communication and presentation skills, you are very well organized and rigorous.

You enjoy providing support, guidance and growth opportunities to your team members.

You lead by example and will embody our values internally and externally.

You are a team player, curious, empathetic, humble, and eager to do your best to create a positive impact!

This job is not for you if

  1. You prefer working in a highly structured, routine environment over a dynamic and fast-paced one.
  2. You can't work in Paris (2 days per week on-site).
  3. You don't have a good understanding and strong interest in scientific or technical subjects.
  4. You are not available to travel on project basis (although most of our clients missions are done remotely).
Recruitment Process

Gross salary 78 - 83K€ with a 8k€ performance-based incentive on top.

Full-time contract (CDI), starting Q1/Q2 2025.

RECRUITMENT PROCESS
